Even Maximus seems to be more important than her. is she just going to run after them discretly, in the second half of the movie, with a stabbing blade in her hand ? End of story ? I guess there is a brilliant finale and death for her, but how can she spread her personnality before that, all trough a movie that all dominated by the famous marketting trio 'girl-thief-horse'.
What happen when she discovers her baby bird has flown with a man ? Is she going to be like those wasted great villains that doesn't go nowhere (I think about Facilier, or Raspoutine in Anastasia), stuck in second hand role. She has the charism of a great one : obsessed by youth, Diva style, manipulative, lying, even with her own song, brushing the magic air to enjoy its power. She's suppose to be one of the main plot character. Villains in Snow White, Sleeping beauty, Aladdin and Mermaid was a brilliant demonstration of that. I mean, remember what Walt and even Hitchcock kept saying ' A good movie is all about a good villain'.
